St. James YOUNG ADULTS

Would you like to hear music being played on KVSS?  How about some rock music?  Well, I'm working on creating an hour long music show that will play great Catholic artists (many whom I've featured in past Events E-mails), some local artists, and even other Christian rock songs that we don't usually hear on the local stations. I'm also hoping to get interviews with the bands.  Right now, I could use your help.  If you or anyone you know is interested in participating in the production of this show, let me know.  Also, I need a catchy name for the show.  Any ideas?

Music & Dancing!

www.jonniven.com - latest album, "Show the World" (click the "Music" link to get a taste. Don't leave until you at least hear the full Bonus Track!)

www.myspace.com/lastdayband - Last Day has a new EP, "We're Here". I especially like their song, "The Ride".

Get out there and do something!  Volunteer, join a Bible study, take up a new sport.  Just turn off the tube and connect with the world around you.  We evangelize just by the way we live our public life.  Good sportsmanship, chivalry, integrity, going out of your way to help others, etc.  It's a great way to respond to God's Love.

www.gracebeforemeals.com - A great blog about cooking and our Catholic faith!  The webisodes are entertaining and short.  Great for ideas when having summer get-togethers with friends.  A seminarian from Lincoln is in at least one of the webisodes!

Inspiring Videos!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CT7x3VnrqbA - Artistic visuals (I love black-light!) done to the song "Who Am I?" (from one of my favorite bands, Casting Crowns).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQmz6Rbpnu0 - This isn't confirmed, but I believe this is a speech by a 12 year old girl to the delegates at the UN's Earth Summit in 1992 - what a great speech!  Are you motivated to action yet?
